Remembering Tony Makela

The family has asked that donations be sent to Northwood, and we have partnered with the Lake Superior College Foundation to start the Tony Makela Memorial Fund. 100% of funds raised for the Tony Makela Memorial Fund will be used towards scholarships for youth associated with Northwood (who otherwise may not be able to afford to attend college) and/or LSC students, in human services programs, who plan on working at Northwood Children's Services to help serve and support youth. We hope this helps continue Tony's work and passion towards serving others, especially our community's youth.
